The visit was well prepared with exciting activities for the children which included a number of recreational activities in cooperation with 'The Art Corner'. Activities included various tricks presented by artists, face painting and decorating the centre with balloons and other decorations.
Mariam Al Maeeni Director of Human Resources Management Service said:
"The purpose of this visit was to promote communication between the staff of the Department and various social groups, as well as for awareness and education of autism and its causes, and ways of dealing with people suffering from such ailments."
Sara Baqer of the Centre for Autism gave a short talk to the visitors about the activities of the Centre and the disease itself. She also entertained questions and queries dealing with causes of the disease and its symptoms, diagnosis and treatment methods.
The children were delighted by the DTCM staff visit who engaged in sports activities with them. Moreover the visit was concluded with exciting gifts for the children and souvenirs from DTCM to the management of the Center for Autism.
