Commenting on this achievement, Mr. Faruk Mustafa Rasool, Asiacell's founder and Chairman of the Board, said:

Despite of the considerable daily security and economic challenges in Iraq, Asiacell is committed to fulfilling its role as a national company in rebuilding the country and in supporting Iraq's economic infrastructure in order to serve new economic sectors and to launch other services, such as the internet and many others.
