Tecom Investments welcomes contributions to the humanitarian campaign not only from employees, group entities and Business Partners, but also from the general public including the residents of Al-Barsha, Dubai Marina and Jebel Ali as well as other surrounding communities.
Abdullatif Almulla, Group CEO of Tecom Investments, said:
"The appalling humanitarian catastrophe unfolding in Gaza demands massive relief efforts and the Tecom campaign signifies our contribution to help alleviate the suffering of the Palestinians. It is our firm conviction that extensive participation by everyone at Tecom that also involves the neighbouring communities will considerably enhance our contribution towards this effort."
"We are greatly concerned with the current situation in Gaza and we are eager to contribute to the welfare of the Palestinians. Tecom employees and Business Partners have always been proactive in their support for humanitarian campaigns and we are confident an increased enthusiasm from the wider Dubai community will enormously complement this urgent and much needed relief effort," he added.
Over 1.4 million Gazans are facing a humanitarian disaster with a dire shortage of food and medical supplies. Several international organizations, including the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) and the World Food Programme, have asked Israel to halt military operations to allow them sufficient time to deliver the much needed supplies.
