Daman has also assigned a page on its website to receive complaints while promising an immediate response as well as a follow-up phone call.

Dr. Michael Bitzer, Daman's Chief Executive Officer, stated:
"We appreciate the fact that we are facing only minor cases of fraud and encourage all our members and providers to directly inform us of any issues they might be facing. We will at all times be available to take the necessary steps to resolve the situation. This new service will guide complaints through the right channels and proper action will be taken, which will be a great advantage to everyone involved."

"Through our system, we were able to handle several types of fraud and violations. Examples of these include misuse of pharmacies by switching prescriptions for cosmetics or products not covered within the insurance plans or patients obtaining coverage under false pretences such as using other people's cards and obtaining services the individual is not entitled to," concluded Dr. Michael

Dr. Ezzat Al Agamy, Daman's Network Director, clarified, "It is critical that all concerned parties come forth and report abuse, and we are happy that people are already doing this." He added: "Our Auditing Department has an ongoing integrated investigation system that is based on credible reports and the concerned authorities are informed of the findings."
