Abdul Salam Al Jassmi, Limitless Regional Director GCC, said:
"Al Wasl will combine a tailor-made development that preserves traditional Saudi culture with a sustainable, modern community that will generate tens of thousands of jobs. It is the first project for Limitless in KSA, where the country's rapidly-expanding population is creating a huge demand for new homes: 50,000 are needed each year in Riyadh alone."
It is anticipated that Al Wasl will be constructed in five phases and, when complete, will have 55,000 homes accommodating more than 200,000 people; 300 hectares of green, open space; 55 mosques, eight malls, several hotels with conference facilities, offices, schools, a university and a hospital.
Limitless is also stepping up its corporate presence in KSA, with the roll out of its Human Thread campaign. Launched in the UAE in October, Human Thread highlights how Limitless creates life-enhancing developments, designed around people. The company is weaving humanity into the urban fabric by focusing on moving people, not cars, reducing congestion so that people will spend less time in traffic jams and more time with those who matter.
