Under the patronage of H.H Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai Offshore Arabia Conference and Exhibition will be inaugurated tomorrow Sunday 11 January 2009 at Medinet Al Jumeirah and will run up to 13 January 2009.
Key note spears at the opening session include Professor Dr. Walter R.Erdelen Director General for Natural Sciences 'Unesco', H.E Abdul Rahman F. Al - Wuhaib Senior Vice President ,Operation Services Saudi Aramco KSA, H.E.Hamood Al - Aglan CEO Saudi National Shipping Company Group and H.E. Khamis Jumma Bu Amim Chairman of Offshore Arabia President and CEO Regional Clean Sea Organization. 85 other speakers from the international oil sector , OPEC,AOPEC , the United Nations Specialized Organizations , Government departments and NGOs.
This announced by H.E.Khamis Jumma Bu Amim President of the Regional Clean Sea Organization Recso and the President of Offshore Arabia.
Bu Amim added, "The Conference Program includes 65 specilzed papers that focus on the issues of energy, environment changes, sustainable development and the role of media in the Arabian Gulf Region , the Gulf of Oman and in the rest of the world."
Roundtable discussions will highlight issues related to exploring for Additional Resources NOC's and IOCs Cooperation, Balancing the Regional energy Supply and Demand Equations and the Region's Energy Demand for Electricity and Water Supplies.
H.E.Abdul Salam Al Madani President of Index Holding the organizer said over 120 companies and specialized institutions will appreciate in the Exhibition, which will run parallel to the Conference.
Al Madani added, "Offshore Arabia 2009 is creating opportunities and enhancing the potentials of oil and gas industry, global market and researches on the planet's environment. It focuses on sharing industry knowledge, builds the momentum forward towards a secured global energy supply drive environmental awareness, and manages climate challenges."
Al Madani confirmed the participation of 90 speakers in the conference with the presence of professionals representing oil and gas companies from the Gulf Region, the Middle East, Asia , Europe and America. Regional and International oil and gas companies, logistics services, oil and gas tankers, supply and chandelles, companies operating in sea cleaning, pollution control and environment protection from oil and chemical spills.
