Tarek Mourad joins CH2M Hill as Transportation Operations Manager for Middle East and North Africa

Mourad has more than 20 years of experience in management and design of transportation projects such as roads, bridges, light rail and airports. In Mourad's new role as TBG Operations Manager for the Middle East and North Africa, he will work closely with regional leadership to expand the firm's presence within the MENA region.

Prior to joining CH2M Hill, Mourad worked for Parsons International Limited where his work included design of bridges, underpass structures, deep tunnels (micro-tunnels for wastewater and stormwater), airports, airport terminal buildings, high-rise buildings, shopping malls, hospitals, water treatment plants and wastewater treatment plants. He managed several fast track EPC, design-build and design projects in several countries including Canada, United Kingdom, Trinidad and Tobago, Lebanon, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Turkey and Egypt.

Mourad received a master's degree in science from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, and is currently working toward a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering at the University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada. Mourad is fluent in Arabic, French, and English, and is a member of the Canadian Society of Civil Engineers, Professional Engineers of Ontario, Egyptian Syndicate of Engineers, Turkish Syndicate of Engineers, United Arab Emirates Syndicate of Engineers, International Association of Bridge and Structural Engineers, and American Association of Civil Engineers.
