Oman supermarkets say no to plastic bags

Fourteen supermarkets in Oman have joined the campaign against the use of plastic bags as part of the ongoing efforts of the Environment Society of Oman's 'Say No to Plastic Bags Campaign'. The supermarket chains involved in the campaign, including Al Fair, Carrefour, Khimji Mart, Lulu Hypermarket, Safeer Hypermarket, Sultan Centre and petrol stations Omanoil Quick Shops, Select stores and Souk Shops, have also agreed on a strict packing policy for the future.
