"Hukoomi is the Gateway to Government. It is a resource for everyone that lives and works in Qatar, as well as those planning to visit. We want to raise awareness of Hukoomi so individuals in Qatar can experience the benefits of having information and services from 48 government ministries and councils in one central, easy to navigate place,"
said Howaida Nadim, Communication Director at ictQATAR.
The CLICK campaign prominently features the image of children whose parents' lives are made easier and more efficient by using Hukoomi. The advertisements stress how simple it is to use the service and the benefits the time saved will have - namely being able to spend more time with your family.
Hukoomi is the centerpiece of a comprehensive effort to create a transparent, streamlined, modern government for the people of Qatar. Established in 2007, 48 ministries and councils are represented in Hukoomi, with more than 290 services - including 56 e-services - offered. The portal has special sections for residents, citizens, business leaders and visitors, making it easy to navigate and find pertinent information. Over the next few years, dozens of exciting new services will be added to improve everyday life for both individuals and business leaders.
ictQATAR led the development of Hukoomi, working with the other government ministries and councils. Hukoomi is part of ictQATAR's i-Gov program or integrated e-government. Through its i-Gov program, ictQATAR strives to make Qatar's government more open and accessible to the people it serves.
