Tadawul begins week on a low

Saudi Arabia's benchmark index ended on a 3.04% low. According to Shakeel Sarwar, head of Asset Management at Sico Investment Bank, the decline is due to profit-taking and the fall in the oil price over the weekend. The index of the largest Arab bourse closed at 5,160 points, weighed by Saudi Basic Industries Corp (Sabic) which fell 3.85%.
