Baby and maternity specialists Mamas & Papas are expanding their presence in the Middle East, through an exclusive agreement with Dubai-based Al Tayer Group.

The agreement will see Mamas & Papas open a further seven Four IV-designed outlets in the region over the next twelve months. The first, opening on January 10th 2009, will be a flagship store in Dubai Mall, the world's largest mall by site area, and further outlets will be located across the Middle East.

Luisa Scacchetti, co-founder of Mamas & Papas commented:
"This major regional expansion follows the success of eight existing franchise stores in the Middle East, which Four IV created for Mamas & Papas. We have worked with Four IV since 2001 and consider their interiors as a key contributing factor to the international success of the brand."

Chris Dewar-Dixon, co-founder and Creative Director of Four IV commented: "We are delighted to have been part of Mamas & Papas' international success and continued expansion. This latest phase incorporates the design from the UK flagship store on Regent Street, which has proved such a hit with Central London's international shoppers. The idea behind the design concept was a trustworthy, soothing environment providing everything required for mother and baby in one location".

Khalid Al Tayer, COO, Al Tayer Group commented: "Mamas & Papas joins our portfolio of the some of the world's most renowned fashion brands. I'm confident that the UK's leading nursery retail brand will be received enthusiastically in the new markets as well."
