Clifford Chance's corporate practice in Abu Dhabi is to be headed up by leading corporate partner John Graham, when he moves from the firm's New York office.
In less than six months of operation the Abu Dhabi office has reached a total of 20 lawyers on the ground in the UAE capital.
John has a broad range of experience in private and public M&A, private equity, joint ventures and other strategic transactions. He has particular expertise with companies in the media and telecommunications sector.
Simon Clinton, head of the corporate practice in Dubai, comments, "John's extensive involvement in global M&A and private equity matters perfectly complements our firm's client base in the Middle East, and we look forward to his leading the corporate practice in Abu Dhabi."
Graham Lovett, Gulf Managing Partner, adds, "John's addition to our team enables us in Abu Dhabi to provide the full range of services clients have to come to expect from Clifford Chance in the United Arab Emirates and throughout the region."
The addition to the Abu Dhabi team follows recent additions to the corporate practice in Dubai, with funds partner Nigel Clark and senior associate Charlotte Douglass recently returned to the Dubai team from London to further develop the firm's funds practice in the Middle East.
