Arabian Automobiles has adopted use of the environmentally-friendly 'Standox Standohyd' water-based paint mixing system at the company's body and paint repair facilities in Dubai and Northern Emirates. The award was received by Michel Ayat, CEO of Arabian Automobiles Company from His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai.

Commenting on the award Ayat said:
"Arabian Automobiles is extremely honoured to receive this award. The use of water-based paint is an important part of the various initiatives we implement as part of our environmental policy. The award is a pleasing recognition of Arabian Automobiles as one of the most environmentally friendly automotive dealers in the region."

The Standox Standohyd water-based paint mixing system provides superior surface coverage and colour matching, resulting in the highest quality paint finish. Arabian Automobiles has often been involved in environmental activities, like the EnviroFone Schools Project, a competition held across the UAE in support of a greener environment in which the company handed over a Nissan Urvan mini-bus to the winning school.
