Bahrain Historical & Archaeological Society is one of the oldest societies in the Kingdom, established in 1953 to raise awareness about the history and archaeology of Bahrain.

Batelco Corporate Affairs General Manager Nadia Hussain presented the donation cheque to Bahrain Historical & Archaeological Society Chairman Dr. Isa Amin during her recent visit to the Society's offices. Also present on the occasion was Society Manager Fawaz Sulaiman.

The Society's facilities include the Shaikh Abdul Aziz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Library, which houses historical books, documents and photography. It provides an invaluable source of information for academics, students and researchers.

"Batelco is delighted to support the Historical & Archaeological Society. We are very impressed with their collection of historical memorabilia and with the range of seminars and exhibitions they organise in Bahrain and the Middle East region annually. We wish them every success for the future," said Mrs. Hussain.

Dr. Isa Amin expressed his gratitude to Batelco for their ongoing support to the society.

"We are fortunate to have the support of Batelco which will enhance the academic and educational facilities provided by the society," he said.
