The Media Escort to UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Managing Director of Dubai Media Incorporated Ahmed Abdullah Al Sheikh received Guy Warrington, the British Consul General in Dubai, at his Dubai Incorporated office.
They discussed several media-related issues of mutual concern, as well as the role of the media in enhancing cultural, economic and tourist interaction between countries and peoples.
Warrington praised the professionalism of the media in Dubai and the UAE, pointing out the high level of excellence that the Media Incorporated's channels enjoy in terms of the quality of news and programming. These programmes are broadcast in many countries around the world and act to familiarise these nations with the culture of the UAE through its free visual media.
The British consul expressed hope for building and developing bridges of cooperation between Dubai Media Incorporated and official media groups in Britain to the mutual benefit of all.
