CopperHead INF Camera-Mounted Transceiver for Infinity Camcorder:

The new CopperHead INF camera-mounted fiber optic transceiver for the Thomson Grass Valley Infinity camcorder enables use of the Infinity as both a camcorder and an HD-SDI multi-cam production camera. The compact CopperHead INF sits between the Infinity camcorder and its battery, delivering bidirectional HD-SDI, composite video, audio, intercom, genlock, and camera control between the Infinity camera head and the remote base station over a single lightweight, battlefield-rated fiber optic cable. Optionally, SMPTE hybrid cable can be used if remote powering of the camera is required. The 1-RU base station integrates easily into any studio, mobile truck, or portable flypack and plugs directly into the facility's switcher, router, intercom, and house sync systems. In addition, the CopperHead INF system permits "iso-recording" on each Infinity camcorder's internal REV-PRO drive during multi-camera productions, allowing for additional post-production editing without the need for expensive studio-style recorders.

SuperBooth Application Suite:

Telecast will demonstrate its exclusive new SuperBooth application suite of fiber optics systems packaged for demanding mobile applications, such as televised coverage of golf and other sports events. SuperBooth provides broadcasters with a plug-and-play solution for leveraging fiber optic networks to overcome the challenges of mobile coverage and deliver the highest quality video to viewers. The SuperBooth suite includes the Telecast Adder II audio, intercom, and data multiplexer; the DiamondBack 4X4 audio and video multiplexer; the TeleThon HD-SDI CWDM multiplexer; and Telecast's new dual-redundant AC/DC RackBack power system.

Rattler Mini HD/SD Link:

At just three inches in length, Rattlers are miniature fiber optic serial digital video transmission modules that can be deployed almost anywhere. Rattlers offer the industry's broadest range of digital rates while maintaining the signal quality that broadcasters demand. The red transmitter modules include equalization for long lengths of coaxial cable, so they can be used at nearly any point in the HD/SDI chain. Both the red transmitter and the blue receiver modules include LED indicators to display power on, HD/SDI signal presence, and received optical power levels. These features provide critical system diagnostic information at a glance without the need for additional test equipment.

Established Products on Display:

- Python II SDI/HD-SDI media conversion.

- TelePort CWDM management system.
