Mr. Tanigawa has been with Toshiba for nearly 40 years and has witnessed its ascent to be one of the world's leading high-technology firms. His vast experience in handling various senior-level positions will be highly invaluable as he shares his expertise and knowledge to the Young Leaders participants."
Sultan Lotah, participant said, "Toshiba has successfully distinguished itself as one of the leading innovators and successful business organisations in the world. It would be interesting for us to know more about the company's corporate practices and strategies, particularly in the area of HR administration."
The Blue Ocean Forum is a quarterly networking event for participants of the Young Leaders level. Apart from the Blue Ocean Forum, the other components of the Young Leaders Program are Executive Programs; Work Projects; Workshops; Personal Development Plan; Personal Coaching; and Virtual Learning Resource Centres. Previously known as the Young Leaders Networking Event, the Blue Ocean Forum is held up to four times in a year.
The Young Leaders is one of four MBRPLD levels that seek to identify the country's most promising young nationals and prepare them to successfully manage the future strategic initiatives of the local sectors. It is developed in line with the vision and directions of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai; the initiator of the MBRPLD initiative who has underscored the critical importance of a highly competent national professional workforce to ensure the country's global sustainability.
