The treatment units installed by Vichem are intended for industries that produce and use chemical products and small companies that have to comply with the new environmental regulations (European Union, USA, Kyoto protocol).

The Pulvaporizator is a revolutionary thermal oxidation system used to treat liquid or gaseous hazardous and halogenated industrial waste. With the Pulvaporizator, Vichem is able to offer a technology for treating gaseous waste and high viscosity liquids as well as waste containing salts whilst maintaining an extremely low level of dioxins and nitrous oxides.

Due to its pulvaporisation design, the oxidizer can atomise and vaporise liquid waste in a single stage. The Pulvaporizator recovers the thermal energy in the form of steam and/or the halogenated compounds in the form of HCI solution or pure HCI gas. Independent tests, carried out on site, have proved that this unique thermal oxidation system has a DRE (Destruction and Removal Efficiency) of more than 99.9999%. The stack emissions are well below governmental requirements. This system is capable of operating for up to 8,500 hours a year.

Vichemaqua is a system used to treat polluted water, such as fresh water (rivers, lakes, dams), stagnant water, waste water, waste water from industrial processes. It is based on membrane filtration treatment, using ceramic membranes, coupled with ozonation. The aim is to eliminate microbiological, organic and inorganic pollutants from the water being treated in order to discharge it into the environment without damage and/or to produce drinking water.

In just a few years, Vichem has earned its place as an essential player in the treatment of solid, liquid and gaseous industrial waste and as a partner and supplier of companies such as Solvay, Sanofi, Arkema, Rhodia.

Vichem's strong points are based on constant innovation and command of the installation of different units, each designed to meet the specific needs of each customer. Vichem supervises each project from A to Z, including services such as inspection, maintenance and training.
