Europe Environnement engineers air pollution control systems which guarantee that gas emissions comply with current regulations. Drawing on a competitive R&D department and a great production capacity, this French company has developed different systems capable of meeting the specific requirements of each client:

- The active carbon tower: a technique combining simplicity and effectiveness, with a flow rate of up to 6,000 m3 treated per hour. The air is blown into the bottom of a tower containing active carbon, and the pollutants are adsorbed to the porous carbon. This process is aimed at water treatment facilities, and the chemical, petrochemical, food processing and pharmaceutical industries, amongst others. Two versions exist: "outdoor", combining a loading door and a gas outlet, or "indoor" with an outlet for transported gases to which discharge ducts can be connected.

- Regenerative carbon filtration: used for larger quantities of pollutants. We use two towers in parallel, The air is blown into a tower of activated carbon while the other one is in a regeneration process using steam. It is possible to recover the gas (solvent) in liquid form, and thus to re-use it after reconditioning.

- The gas scrubber: the principle involves making pollutants (acid, ammonia, sulphur dioxide, etc.) soluble in a washing liquid (water or water with added reagents). A packing, generally made from polypropylene (PP), allows process optimisation. Once the pollutants have been made soluble, they are degraded and neutralised by reagents. Flow rates of up to 130,000 m3 per hour can be treated. Industries to which this system applies: surface treatment, odour treatment, wastewater treatment plants, composting centres, chemical industries.

- Bio-filters: The gas to treat will cross a biomass contaéining bacteria. The pollutants will be degraded and destroyed by these bacteria. The advantage of this method is that it completely degrades the pollutants without using any chemical.

Europe Environnement also provides a variety of services that add to the quality of its products and equipment: excellent after-sales service, reactivity, supply of consumables, initial set-up analysis, monitoring, standardisation, spare parts.

Europe Environnement is part of the EE Group that gathers several entities which can cover all requirements related to air pollution control:

- Europ-Plast specialises in manufacturing thermoplastic fans destined, amongst others, for laboratories and industries needing to circulate corrosive gases.

- Protech Air: dust filtering and general ventilation solutions.

- And Ventacid Hungary, specialised in plastic storage tanks.
