- PRESS RELEASE
The Feljas and Masson Company is a supplier of turnkey water-pumping and water-treatment installations: it will be presenting its know-how at the Environment 2009 trade fair, from next January 19th to 21st in Abu Dhabi.
The company is involved in preeminent new projects as subcontractor or contracting partner of major players in the construction and public works sector: Vinci, Sade Veolia and more.
It also overhauls and upgrades operations in water-pumping or water-treatment facilities. In partnership with enterprises specialised in refurbishing of civil engineering works, it provides:
• Global works and equipment expertise: analysing hydraulic operations and civil engineering condition, upgrading facilities to latest environmental and safety standards, modernising electrical installs, replacing and/or reconditioning obsolete equipment.
• Improved energy efficiency proposals: using variable-speed drives and high-efficiency equipment to reduce energy consumption.
• Site automation and remote control implementation.
Using the latest in technology, the company is also in a position to set up complex systems for the remote control of water and sanitation networks: for the Ash Sharqiyah Sands Main Water Supply System in the Sultanate of Oman, the company has implemented a remote monitoring and remote control system including 180 kilometres of optical fibre, 70 supervised sites and a television surveillance system (CCTV).
The Feljas & Masson Company, with 45 years' experience, performs 2/3rd of its turnover in export, thanks to its many subsidiaries. It has the trust of international financing agencies such as the World Bank, EDF, Arab funds, OPEC and more.
