The company also uses microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration and reverse osmosis processes that makes FAR Ingénierie at the leading edge of technology and innovation.
Due to its skill in crossflow filtration, FAR Ingénierie obtains high pollution control rates: hydrocarbon content lower than 1 mg/l, even with dense emulsion, discharge COD lower than 100 mgO2/l. These results that are close to 100% pollution control and the recycling of treated water. These installations are very compact and designed using 3D CAD in order to match to the volume available. They fit in well with the drastic space constraints on platforms or ships.
Processes are intended for the following industries:
- The oil industry (offshore platforms, refineries, storage plants, distributors...): separation of oil and water, whether in emulsion or not, recycling of washing water, treatment of water from the decantation of ethoxylated (oxygenated) fuels.
- Mechanical and automotive industries: treatment and recycling of degreasing baths, washing water, treatment of cutting fluids, treatment and decolorization of dye penetration inspection effluents.
- Marine equipment: separation of emulsified (or not) oily bilge water, treatment and recycling of grease water.
- Chemical and pharmaceutical industries: treatment of effluents containing tension actives, hard COD removal, Active ingredients concentration.
- All industries: treatment of washing and degreasing water (parts, vehicles, aircraft...), effluents from fire exercises, reverse osmosis (demineralisation).
Two pilots for oily water (0.5 and 1 m3/h) are available for tests on board or on site and two others (0.2 and 2 m3/h) can be used for demonstrations of integral pollution control at industrial scale.
