Zain Bahrain to support children of Gaza

Zain Bahrain is the main sponsor for an effort to support the innocent children of Gaza through a tournament that the Awali Bowling Club is holding.
"Zain Bahrain believes in supporting the community to reach out for worthy causes, and this particular cause is one that is close to the heart of everybody who has seen the suffering of innocents in Gaza," said Zain Bahrain's Corporate Communications Manager Samya Hussain. "The Awali Club has put together a commendable sporting event that will not only provide excellent team-building opportunities, but will also highlight the need to support the Palestinian cause. We are therefore glad to extend a helping hand to them."
The lanes will be opened for the bowlers' first round from 4pm to midnight. The top 22 qualifiers will receive $8000 in total. Along with these prizes, there will be a prize of $50 for daily highest series. The main aim of this event is to raise some funds from either participating in the tournament or receiving donation from establishments or individuals for this humanitarian cause. For such, Bapco has already contiributed to this tournament by waving the lane fees and club admission, which accounts for around BD2000.
Therefore, the organizing committee, which is led by Yacoob Al-Shehabi, is calling everyone to come along and participate or donate so to have a successful campaign to raise as much as possible to help the innocent children in Gaza. The tournament rules and procedures are available on the Bapco Bowling Centre notice board.
In this occasion, we would like to thank the management of Zain Bahrain for taken the liability for sponsoring this tournament especially Ali Rahimi, Manager Residential and Business Marketing who puts his heart and efforts into this campaign from different angles to get this event get underway.
