Pena Environnement to attend the Environment 2009 trade fair in Abu Dhabi
- United Arab Emirates: Thursday, January 15 - 2009 at 16:45
- PRESS RELEASE
Pena Environnement will take part in the Environment 2009 trade fair held in Abu Dhabi from next January 19th to 21st.
The ADONIS Evoluteam process performs composting in closed enclosures, allowing fermentation steering and control. All kinds of organic matter may be included: sludges, grease, etc. It supplies a normalised organic amendment within one month, fully certified by the Ministry of Agriculture. A sanitising technology - the entire mass is heated to over 74°C - destroys all human and vegetal pathogens. This process also limits environmental impact.
The compost's effectiveness has been demonstrated by life-size field tests. It can significantly reduce requirements in both water and fertilizer, thus diminishing the impact of agricultural activity. It also contributes in increasing local job opportunities, within a sustainable development approach.
The CORIS process, for its part, aims at recycling 100% of safe waste into substitute fuel intended for industrial furnaces. It provides a means to reduce energy costs, fossil fuel use and greenhouse gas emissions.
It contains no ferrous or non-ferrous metals, no PVCs, no polystyrene, no inert compounds. On average, it is made up of paper and cardboard (40%), non-chlorinated plastics (40%), wood (15%) and fabric (5%). It can be used in cement works, large industrial furnaces, greenhouses, wood dryers and paper factories.
The Pena Group (Amendor, Pena Metaux, Pena Environnement and Pena Environnement Brazil) sets up high-performance waste-recycling tools by selling turnkey factories to local authorities and industry. It also provides all the training and know-how required for truly successful industrial recycling.
