A launch highlight includes a topical one hour special, 'Middle East Challenge', hosted by CNN's Hala Gorani, and scheduled to air at 2200 GMT. The programme sees Gorani travel through the Middle East to take the pulse of the world's most dynamic and volatile region and investigate the underlying and often-unspoken issues creating roadblocks to economic and political progress, and follows from the success of the channel's other Middle East-specific programming including 'Marketplace Middle East' and 'Inside the Middle East'.
