ATI Incinerateurs Muller to participate at the Environment Exhibition in Abu Dhabi
- United Arab Emirates: Saturday, January 17 - 2009 at 09:38
- PRESS RELEASE
ATI Incinerateurs Muller specialises in waste incineration systems that can destroy all hospital, industrial and animal residue without any risk of contamination will be presenting its technology at the Environment Exhibition being held from 19 to 21 January 2009 in Abu Dhabi.
The equipment designed by the company enables the total and reliable destruction of all solid, liquid and gaseous substances, ranging from residues containing plastics, tars and paint to waste from healthcare activities presenting a risk of infection, such as syringes, medicines and anatomical parts.
The incinerators are actually the only ones currently on the market capable of eliminating certain types of waste with a high infectivity level resistant to other types of treatment. The volume of this waste can be reduced by 98% and its weight by 90%, and germs are completely destroyed.
The company, highly concerned by environmental problems, started out from the fact that the discharge of combustion gases into the atmosphere represents a real ecological danger. It then perfected three different filtration systems that can be adapted to the nature of the gases released. For example, incinerators with systems that filter gas by washing or a dry method are designed to retain dust, heavy metals, chlorine and dioxins.
All equipment meets the Emission standard of European directive 76/2000 and the French order of 20 September 2002. Subsequently, the energy resulting from the incineration of waste can be recovered to produce heat, steam-powered electricity or hot water.
Its considerable experience in incineration means that the company can meet the demands of its clients and offer them solutions responding to their requirements in every way. It has focused on reliability and simplicity of operation so that operating costs can be reduced. The medical and hazardous waste treatment centres in Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (the city of Al-Ain), together with Sanofi-Pasteur and CIRC (International Cancer Research Centre) in France, are just some of the 3,000 clients that call on the services of ATI to resolve their waste treatment problems.
As well as its waste destruction activity, ATI also produces two kinds of cremation furnaces, for human remains and animals: both fields in which its technology is superlative.
