Dubai School of Government hosts speakers of the Arab Women's Leadership Forum

The Dubai School of Government (DSG) yesterday hosted a dinner for the speakers and the participants of the Arab Women's Leadership Forum which was recently held in Dubai and inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

Titled as 'Global Trends and Local Innovations', the forum was attended by prominent women representatives from the western and Arab world.

Mr. Tariq Yousef, Dean of the Dubai School of Government and members of the faculty attended the dinner. Elena Schildgen from Rodl & Partner, Alice Eagly from Northwestern University, Dr. Val Singh from Cranfield University, Elisabet Engellau from INSEAD-France, Ilene Lang from Catalyst-USA, Dr. Asma Siddiki, Associate Dean for Development, Dubai School of Government, Asya M.Al Lamki, Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman Rohini Pande from Harvard Kennedy School and Mr. Mohsen Moazami, VP Ciscowere amongst the dignitaries who were present for the occasion.

A Regional Institution for the Arab World
The Dubai School of Government is a research and teaching institution focusing on public policy in the Arab world. Established in 2005 under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, the school aims to promote good governance by enhancing the region's capacity for effective public policy.

Toward this goal, the Dubai School of Government collaborates with international institutions such as Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government and the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in its research and training programs. In addition, the school organizes policy forums and international conferences to facilitate the exchange of ideas and promote critical debate on public policy in the Arab world.
