Axis introduces their first HDTV camera at Intersec 2009

Marking its third presence at the Middle East's largest security trade fair and conference, Axis Communications will reveal its latest broadcast product portfolio of state-of-the-art surveillance systems which support H.264 compression technology on a 54 square meter stand, specifically developed to showcase more than 20 network cameras.

With technical, sales and product representatives on hand to answer any questions, Axis' stand aims to provide an interactive learning arena in which to demonstrate its products capabilities in an accessible and user friendly way.

Among the products that will be on display will include the newly launched AXIS Q1755 Camera and AXIS M10 Network Camera Series. Visitors to Intersec (18th - 20th January 2009), at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, can experience these latest Axis technologies for themselves, in Hall 2, Stand 3412C.

The newly launched AXIS Q1755 and AXIS M3011/M3014 will be three of Axis' key network video innovations taking center-stage on their stand at the show. Employing breakthrough technology and video intelligence, the storage and bandwidth demands are considerably reduced whilst complying with the SMPTE (Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers) standards for HDTV. With day & night functionality and progressive scan, the AXIS Q1755 provides exceptional quality images even of fast moving objects in all lighting conditions - without any motion blur. This makes the camera an ideal solution for securing areas where greater image detail is required, such as in banks and in airports
