Sony Ericsson serious enterprise provider in Middle East

In its latest bid to show its new achievement in the Middle East, Sony Ericsson announces its ability to become a serious enterprise provider through different channels.

As an enterprise provider Sony Ericsson will empower companies by providing innovative and feature-packed mobile phones, accessories and mobile brand solutions.

Launched in a special event themed "I @ both worlds - work and life", the occasion showcased Sony Ericsson as the latest addition in the enterprise field. The different enterprise channels came in full force to show their support to Sony Ericsson's latest endeavor

Head of Business Development at Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications International AB- Middle East and Northern Africa, Gabriel B. Sjogren happily announced:
"The kick-off was held in the UAE and we are looking forward to expand in the GCC market so we can be closer to all the big enterprises in the region."


Highlighting the event was the X1 - XPERIA - Sony Ericsson's latest top-of-the-line business mobile device. The X1 is a stunning Windows-equipped mobile phone, furnished with a sliding full "QWERTY" keyboard and large touch screen display. With state-of-the-art qualities, the X1 is definitely a must gadget for the busy executive who works most of the time outside of the office.

The event also served as a seminar that tackled on the various business value propositions and services that Sony Ericsson offers to the enterprises.

Push email solution, an important factor for business people on the go, was emphasized in the messaging proposition. Mobile internet proposition focused on the fast up and downloading internet capability while on the move. The mobile broadband proposition highlighted and extolled the extremely fast, up to 7.2mbps, wireless connection either through USB or express card connection. Personal productivity proposition tackled on the capability of being organized. While the business voice proposition talked about call management features and hands-free accessories.

As the event progressed, Sony Ericsson, together with Microsoft showed a feasible solution focusing on device management for companies delving on three key areas. Device Management system means better control and safety as well as proper management of data. For accessibility, the mobile Virtual Private Network (VPN) is for fast and reliable connection into your corporate networks. And lastly, control gives enterprises a security management system that monitors sensitive data and file encryptions.

"It just goes to show that we at Sony Ericsson will do our best to keep our products and solutions at the core of the daily life of all enterprises," concludes Sjogren.
