Etihad announces new regional general manager sales team in place

Etihad Airways has re-structured its regional general manager (RGM) sales team to reflect better the ongoing expansion of Etihad's route network and the airline's focus moving forward.
Geert Boven, Etihad Airways' executive vice president sales and services, said: "The changes reflect our ambitious growth and development plans in the respective regions and new centres of focus for the airline's route network in the coming years."
The position of RGM Americas has been given to Robin Middleton who joined Etihad on 15 November 2008. Robin has more than 20 years experience in the aviation industry in a wide range of roles and previously worked for British Airways, Qantas and Gulf Air.
Daniel Barranger began his role as RGM Europe on 5 January 2009 and has more than 25 years experience in the aviation, hospitality and car hire industries in the Middle East and Europe.
Raymond Korban will continue in the existing role of RGM UAE and Oman as will Cramer Ball for Asia Pacific South and Australasia and Joost den Hartog for Asia Pacific North and the Indian Sub Continent.
Kirk Albrow will take on a new role as RGM Africa with Maen Abdul Halim's role consolidating to become RGM Middle East.
