The stylish device offers print, scan and copy functions with built-in memory card slots in a compact form at a more affordable price point.

Chief among the improvements to be incorporated into the PIXMA MP260 is Canon's enhanced ChromaLife100+ system, delivering longer lasting, more vibrant prints. The new system combines the latest FINE Cartridges with a 4800x1200dpi, 2pl FINE print head, new ink and genuine Canon photo paper to deliver substantial improvements in print longevity.

Improved ink system

Canon's new FINE Cartridges bring outstanding colour reproduction and clarity, with one cartridge using dye-based CMY colours that give great, glossy photo prints and a black pigment ink cartridge for crisp text reproduction. The tiny 2pl ink droplets also help to achieve smooth, grain-free photo prints, making the most of your digital images.

Ease of use

Digital photographers will find the PIXMA MP260 ideal, as its built-in memory card slots cater for many popular card types meaning users can simply take the card out of their camera and insert it directly into the printer, without the need for a PC. It's also possible to scan photos and documents directly to memory card for transfer and backup - again, without the use of a PC - adding to the PIXMA MP260's versatility as a true All-In-One.

Further enhancing its ease of use is a Quick Start mode and self-opening paper tray, which will automatically open to collect your prints if accidentally left closed. The inclusion of an updated version of Canon's Easy-PhotoPrint EX software with Auto Photo Fix is also a bonus for those looking to get the best results with their photo prints.

High-resolution 1200dpi scanning is placed at the user's disposal through the bundled MP Navigator EX software. This user-friendly program boasts features such as Auto Scan Mode, to assess the media and adjust the resolution and crop accordingly.

- Print, copy and scan
