Falconcity of Wonders supports curtain raiser property show
- United Arab Emirates: Thursday, January 22 - 2009 at 09:13
- PRESS RELEASE
The presence of Falconcity of Wonders (FCW) and other major developers at the 5th annual Abu Dhabi Real Estate and Investment Show or IREIS 2009 will give a big boost to the local industry.
IREIS 2009 will occupy an exhibiting space of 12,800 square meters, an increase of 28% from the 2008 edition.
Being the first property development show for the year, IREIS 2009 will become the barometer of where the local market will be headed next. A lot have been said about the first quarter being the most difficult period for developers and real estate companies.
FCW CEO Salem Al Moosa said: "The show will be a good time for local as well as regional companies to demonstrate their commitment to their customers. By being present at IREIS 2009 is proof enough of our professional capabilities."
Al Moosa added that they are following the country's leaders in making the UAE a tourist and investment destination in the Middle East.
FCW is a purpose-built mega project within Dubailand, featuring structures based on famous sites and the architectural marvels of the world, such as the Pyramids, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the Eiffel Tower, the Taj Mahal and the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The city is shaped to represent the falcon, emblematic of the UAE's heritage.
The project is spread over an area more than 40 million square feet and will combine various commercial, residential, educational and leisure amenities with entertainment facilities, and will include apartments, villas, shopping malls, hotels, restaurants, health clubs and spas, and schools and parks.
