The event, that was organized by three ROTA volunteers, Hasna Nada, Reem Al Reifi and Mona Al Naimi, was enhanced by a charity auction that was held on the occasion.

H.E. Sheikha Aisha bint Faleh Al Thani, Member of ROTA Board of Directors, and H.E. Sheikha Ghalia bint Mohammed Al Thani, along with the spouses of Ministers and Ambassadors, were among the 75 VIP women who attended the event.

"We all see the humanitarian crisis that Gaza faces during the last weeks. With over 50% of its population being children, our support for the improvement of the living and educational conditions in the Gaza Strip is of critical importance. Each one of us has the power to help these children, so let's do it," said H.E. Sheikha Aisha bint Faleh Al Thani.

During the ladies-only reception, ROTA's distinguished guests bid for several auction items that were donated by the Souq Waqif Art Center, Blue Salon, Balquis Gallery, Dados Spa, AND, W Hotel and Al Salam in support of the children of Gaza. H.E. Sheikha Aisha also donated a calligraphy painting worth $100,000 to be auctioned for the same cause. However, the very prestigious event wouldn't have been so successful without the valuable support of Four Seasons Hotel which generously offered its hospitality.

This reception was only one of the many awareness and fund raising efforts of Reach Out To Asia and Al Fakhoora Student Campaign in support of the children and youth of Gaza.
