Decision Makers TV announces launch of new programs

Topping the list is 'Min Al Sharq' ('From the East'), a weekly live news program hosted by Jamal Demloj that analyzes the global implications of political, economic and strategic developments in Eastern countries such as Russia, China, India and Japan.

The one-hour show will air every Tuesday at 3:05 pm with an evening replay at 11 pm, and on Wednesdays 10:00 am.

'Kalam Al Aqlam' (The Words of the Pen) is a one-hour program hosted by Wissam Shayya who interviews prominent Arab writers, journalists, intellectuals and poets such as Siham Shaashaa, Ibrahim Khayat and Faten Azzam about their popular works as well as their journey, inspirations, and their opinion on current events.

This show is aired every Friday at 10:00 pm, with a replay on Saturday at 4:00 am and 12:00 pm. 'A'alam Al Milaha' ('World of Navigation'), on the other hand, is a documentary focusing on navigational aids and facilities such as airport observation towers and marine lighthouses and the machines that they guide. The 30-minute show airs on Fridays at 4:00 pm, with replays at 9:30 pm on Fridays and 9:00 am on Saturdays.

Finally, Decision Makers TV will unveil 'Sign In,' a 30-minute entertainment program highlighting the latest technological gadgets in the market or under development. Presenter Roshan Kurbaj will discuss the special features of the featured products and provide updates on trends in mobile telephones, computers, MP3 players, video games, and gadgets of interest.

The show airs every Sunday and Tuesday at 2:30 pm, with replays later the same day at 7:30 pm, and Mondays and Wednesdays at 2:30 am and 9:00 am. Decision Makers TV has emerged as the second most popular economic- and business-oriented channel in the Pan Arab region since commencing operations in September 2006.

The first station in National Broadcast Centre FZ LLC's channel lineup, DM TV operates a fully-equipped state-of-the-art studio in Dubai Media City.
