Mr. Adel Al Zarouni, Managing Director of Burooj Properties, said that Burooj's support for MEPF is in line with the company's commitment to raise the profile of the regional real estate sector by highlighting unique and untapped financing solutions and opportunities offered for investors.

"MEPF has grown to be one of the region's leading real estate financing events that provides industry players, such as Burooj Properties, with the ideal platform to network, discuss, and share insights about the region's realty and financing sectors,"

Mr. Al Zarouni said.

"The staging of a high caliber event like MEPF is timely and a testimony of how the realty sector in the region is gearing itself to address the challenges in the market. This sector, in effect, is still one of the key components for most of regional governments' drive for economic diversification. This is quite evident in a vibrant and dynamic city like Abu Dhabi which has an estimated AED1.84 trillion in projects under development accounting for 8 percent of the country's GDP," he added.

Organized by Meed (Middle East Economic Digest), the region's leading source for business news, analysis and commentary across all sectors, MEPF is one of the most significant annual events for those involved in developing, building and financing major projects in the region, while playing a seminal role in defining the world's largest project finance market. Over 250 delegates are expected to attend the event.

Burooj Properties has actively supported events that are related to realty sector. The company sponsored the Abu Dhabi Conference 2008, which was held in Abu Dhabi last November, and Sharjah International Investment and Real Estate Exhibition (ACRES), which concluded in Sharjah last month.
