In its latest publicity campaign, Tamkeen will use a 45-second TV commercial conceived and developed by Tamkeen's advertising agency Gulf Marcom and shot by Bahrain-based production house, Talking Pictures. Shooting for the commercial, which stresses the Tamkeen promise of new avenues for growth, progress and development in the workplace, is currently underway at several locations around Bahrain.

"Tamkeen is currently running a sustained awareness campaign with press ads and outdoor hoardings on the various training and financial initiatives we have developed to empower Bahrainis to take their place in the progress and development of the Kingdom with the new perspectives and skills required,"

commented Marketing Communications Manager, Hala Suleiman, "This TV commercial is not just a tool in the campaign but also an exciting demonstration of the talent available in Bahrain and among Bahrainis to fulfill new roles. We are using Bahraini models and production talent and the commercial is rooted in the local culture, making it easy to relate to and inspiring for Bahrainis."

The commercial uses simple everyday scenes and showcases how the baton of empowerment is passed on from Tamkeen to different segments of society - the youth, businessmen and emerging entrepreneurs. The stitching together of the scenes and the conclusion showing Tamkeen's familiar "ladder of success" theme puts the visuals in perspective and at the same time repeats the Tamkeen visual mantra of how Tamkeen enables individuals and companies to come together to achieve greater heights of excellence.

"Tamkeen believes in the power of Bahrainis to achieve whatever is demanded of them, given the right tools of training and equipment," observed Chief Executive Abdulellah Al Qassimi, "In producing this TV commercial, we wanted to 'walk the talk' and entrust it to a local company and talent pool and we are delighted that the commercial not only takes across the Tamkeen message but also embodies our faith in Bahrainis as the keys to future national progress."
