Intercoil announces 22% growth in 2008

Intercoil International, Dubai based orthopedic sleep products manufacturer and distributor has reported an increase of 22% in total sales for the year 2008, and a remarkable 50% growth in retail sales.

The company likewise announced that it will push through with expanding its business nationwide this year. Recently, two new stores were opened in The Walk -JBR and Al Ain Mall. In addition, Al-Quoz branch was re-opened after renovation, increasing its total retail outlets in the UAE to seven. Catering to the huge demand of Intercoil products across the country, the opening of new stores will ensure that the company can reach out to all its customers in the UAE.

The emphasis on eco-friendly approach to manufacturing and therapeutic benefits of sleep has made Intercoil a leading provider of healthy sleep products in the region.

Intercoil was incorporated in 1974 and is a member of the International Sleep Products Association (ISPA). Intercoil holds the Guinness World Record for manufacturing the biggest bed in the world and is the only company in the UAE mattress industry accredited with ISO 9001, 14000 and OHSAS 18001.

Apart from the UAE, Intercoil has distribution centers in Oman, Kuwait, Dammam, and Qatar. The company exports its products to the GCC countries, North Africa, and South Asia.
