Sudarshan Raman of 3M Gulf says:
"The University of Minnesota was looking for a Middle East-based company with strong US, and particularly Minnesota, connections in order to expose students to the region from a cultural, as well as a business point of view. 3M is probably the most apt, having originated as the Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Co some 100 years ago."

"Over the two day programme, we took students -all post graduates at the Universities Carlson School of Management - through the 3M working model, our operations in Dubai since entering the market, along with the development and introduction of different products that cater to the regions specific needs."

"We also touched on how our business channels have grown to service sectors as diverse as oil and gas, healthcare, display and graphics, amongst others, responding to industry and consumer needs as we go." Sudarshan Raman added.
