Leading companies from across the globe to take centre stage at Beauty Vision

Beauty Vision will bring together some leading names from the beauty and cosmetic sector from across the globe.

The exhibition, to be held at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) between February 3 and 5, 2009, has confirmed participation of companies from Italy, Germany, Singapore, Netherlands, Belgium, Taiwan, Lebanon, Switzerland, India and the UAE.

Beauty Vision will involve some top names from the UAE cosmetics and beauty market including Etoile Trading, Nazih Trading, Joz Trading Company, Gita Cosmetics and Japan Emirates Trading, among others.

In his comments, Mr. Justin Boutros, Managing Director of Channels Exhibitions, said:

"With the annual sales in the sector in excess of $2bn, Beauty Vision will provide the right platform to serve the dynamic and burgeoning cosmetics market in the Middle East. We have received confirmations from many top names in the industry, including some prominent companies from the UAE."


The three-day exhibition will redefine the latest trends in the fashion and beauty sector and will involve interactive shows as well as live demonstration of various beauty concepts from various participating companies. These include hairstyling, hair design, hair loss treatment, personal care & hygiene, make up and even demonstration on machines for slimming services.

Mr Boutros added: "Beauty Vision will also demonstrate the latest designs in the hair & beauty regime and creating a vibrant spa environment. The exhibition will bring together experts who will shed light on various facets of the sector. We have embedded the event in an international fair environment, making it a truly unique experience."

With five unique concepts, Beauty Vision will provide a complete overview of the beauty industry and providing an annual shop window and unique networking opportunity for key buyers and influencers from the whole of GCC, Asia, North Africa, for CIS states and the Indian subcontinent.

According to official statistics, sales of cosmetics and perfumes across Middle East touched $2.1bn last year with unparalleled growth trends. The consumption of cosmetics and perfumes in this region ranks among the highest per capita worldwide and the average purchase-estimates of beauty products in the region touch $350 per head. Beauty sector in the Middle East is growing at 12% every year and is set to be worth over $10bn per annum industry soon.

The exhibition will showcase different concepts - Vision Pharma, Vision Retail, Vision Raw, Vision Hair and Vision Wellbeing. A unique Beauty Vision experience - Vision Match, Vision Concierge and Vision Lounge - will also be offered to exhibitors.
