- PRESS RELEASE
The UAE Red Crescent (UAERC) has teamed up with BinSina Pharmacy to launch a campaign to reach medicines to the suffering people of Gaza following the brutal Israeli bombings over the past few weeks.
Mohammed Abdullah Alhaj Al Zarooni, Manager, Dubai branch of the UAE Red Crescent said, "This campaign forms part of the tireless efforts of the UAERC to provide relief to the people of Gaza in one of the most brutal and inhuman attacks that have violated every form of human rights."
Al Zarooni added, "All our humanitarian campaigns have received overwhelming response from the UAE people and the government. This comes as no surprise because the UAE is known for helping the needy. This campaign will be highly beneficial to the injured people of Gaza, because BinSina is working directly with health organizations and leading hospitals in Palestine."
Ayman Hanbali of BinSina Pharmacy said, "We have already prepared a plan to deliver medical aid to the most needy. We are working in direct collaboration with the UAE Red Crescent to deliver the medicines donated by the UAE people to the suffering people in Gaza."
Hanbali said there was an acute shortage of medicines in Gaza. The medicines needed include not only ordinary drugs but also treatment for chronic and psychological illnesses. BinSina has already worked out a list of all the medicines and the quantities required.
Hanbali added, "BinSina Pharmacy's participation in this campaign stems from its duty as an Arab company to render humanitarian and medical aid to the people of Gaza. We will spare no effort in making this campaign a success and thus support the Palestinian people in their resistance against Israeli occupation."
