This service is the first of its kind to fulfill the terms of e-government services in the Kingdom, as well as Ish'aar Service which sends an SMS to the mobile of the beneficiary whenever any update of his records or the records of its employee in the Passports Directorate is made.

Before this service, there was the Umrah portal which annually saves more than 20 million waiting minutes for pilgrims in addition to other safe electronic services.

About Muqeem Service
Muqeem Service allows direct around the clock connection to a company or establishment with databases of the Passports Directorate and the General Administration of Traffic Police to get updated information on the resident workers of the company and also updated information about all the transactions concerning the resident workers of the company made in the General Directorate of Passports or the General Department of Traffic Police.

The service was launched in 2007 under the name "Muqeem"- means resident- and was later developed and interactive services were added to it, such interactive services as electronic exit and return visa and others.
