Influenced by a modern take on classic French-Mediterranean dishes, his special touch is evident from his extensive and rigorous tenures in some of the best kitchens in the great gastronomic region of Provence, France and around the world.

Chef Buffille's culinary brilliance is evident with dishes on the new menu such as foie gras three ways: pan fried, salted and foamed, Alaskan king crab, the famed Marseillaise fish soup-made of at least three different varieties of fish accompanied by sauce rouille, and garlic crouton. For the main course, guests may select whole fish from the fish market that either can be baked with lemon confit, roasted with coriander, cumin and chilli, or baked with tomatoes, olives and basil, or contemplate from the extensive a la carte menu. For those with a sweet tooth, there are plenty of delectable treats to satisfy the craving. The stellar dessert selection includes a classic vacherin with tropical fruit, strawberry delights and profiterole in lolly pops.

"I am fortunate to be a part of this chic restaurant, my main focus of inspiration while creating the new menu for Al Dana are modern classics with an emphasis on seafood - a 'coastal cuisine' that is both sweet and savoury using the freshest, highest quality. Using fresh ingredients, so as to trigger a wave of succulent and refreshing flavour with every bite." says Chef Buffille.

Al Dana Restaurant offers a front-row seat to paradise on one of Doha's most stunning beaches. This casually chic enclave is the only beachfront restaurant in Doha. Dining in the 118-seat offers guests a relaxing beachside sanctuary in a breathtaking Qatari-inspired setting.

Other distinctive features include a visually exciting show kitchen and sushi counter where aspiring gourmets can follow the preparation of their meal. During the cooler months the relaxed and al fresco environment of the outdoor terrace offers stunning views over Doha bay, which makes for a casual dining spot as well as a perfect location for evening cocktails.
