Doha Marriott's Spa presents Salsa classes held by professional trainers from the "Salsa and Candela" Group

The Spa is starting their New Year the 'Salsa Way', with Salsa classes held every Saturday night for both beginners and advanced dancers to learn and improve their 'Latin dance skills'.

Salsa dance and music has a long and very interesting history with a lot of inspiring memories and legends. In 1932, the first Salsa group was founded in Cuba playing percussion, horns and other instruments while practicing this unique technique. The 10 sisters succeeded their goal and taught all the steps to others and so the tradition was followed until today.

Bringing the Salsa alive at Doha Marriott's Spa are "Salsa and Candela", a group of professional dancers, fans and amateurs. The group is based in Doha and each one has the real Salsa spirit. The goal of this group is to socialize and to spread Salsa awareness in Doha and to teach the Salsa and Latin scene with proper techniques, style, and variety.

Everybody is heartily welcome to join the group as they are offering beginners as well as intermediate classes. Join the "Salsa and Candela" group and learn the hottest Latino dance steps socialize, shape up and even lose weight in this fun, energetic and lively dance class. You will be introduced to Salsa, Samba, Cha Cha, Mambo and even Tango.
