During the festival, the applied Arts department organized an art exhibition, in which participating students from different specialties displayed their artworks to the public, and sold their Gaza-themed paintings, posters, magazines and models.

Abdullah Al Shawabkeh, a second year Tourism Management Diploma student at Al Quds College and a participant at the exhibition, commented: "Our participation came to express our feelings towards people in Gaza; I believe that this exhibition will deliver a message of hope, unity and solidarity."

"We are responsible towards our friends and families in Gaza, and every one should contribute in their own ways to help stop the war," he added

Dr. Mustafa Al Adwan, Al Quds College Dean, said:
"Given the current situations, we all live a period of grieve and sadness. We are proud that our students share the same desire to reach out and support our families and friends in Gaza, this shows how our values as an educational institution are reflected in our students, and will always be embedded in them throughout their lives."

"The festival aims at giving our students the opportunity to express themselves and take part in providing assistance to the Palestinian families in the strip," added Dr. Al Adwan.

The cash collected from the exhibition and the bazaar sales in addition to the staff contributions will be donated to Gaza through the Hashemite Charity Commission.
