Al Bustan Centre and Residence welcomed delegates of First Fazza Wheelchair Basketball Tournament Dubai 2009

The management and staff of Al Bustan Centre and Residence was pleased to welcome the delegates of the First Fazza Wheelchair Basketball Tournament which took place in Dubai recently.

The event was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and organised by Dubai Special Sports Club in the hall of Al Ahly Club.

During their stay at Al Bustan Centre & Residence, the Fazza delegates utilized all the facilities of the property which prepared them well before the outset of the tournament. The delegates showed great admiration for the help and support they received from the staff of Al Bustan Centre & Residence.

Moussa El Hayek, Chief Operating Officer of Al Bustan Centre & Residence, said:

"We are extremely pleased to have served the delegates of wheelchair tournament in Dubai. This shows how much we honour the dedication and commitment of people with intellectual disabilities. He added such initiatives help physically challenged people get opportunities to develop fitness, demonstrate courage and experience joy as they participate in the sharing of gifts and friendship with other athletes, their families and the community. The property felt elated for being considered by the organizers and given the opportunity to host Fazza delegates due to the experience and expertise of its staff in handling people with special needs.
