Paul Aranjo named new leader for Middle East

Paul Aranjo has been named Managing Director Middle East and Vice President EMEA for Carlson Marketing reporting directly to President EMEA, Jonathan Harman.

He will start in March in this new role which has been created as a result of the significant growth the agency has experienced in the region since its launch in Abu Dhabi three years ago.

Arriving in Dubai in 2001, Paul has spearheaded the growth in CRM, Loyalty and Relationship Marketing for MRM, a business he has led since its inception in the region. He has won new business engagements including Nestle, Jumeirah, Morocco Tourism, Pfizer, PowerPlate, Wipro and Emirates Palace.

Prior to this, Paul was Client Services Director at WPP agency RMG Connect in Bombay, India where his clients included Glaxo-Wellcome, Standard Chartered Bank, DSP Merrill Lynch and UDV.

Headquartered in Minneapolis, USA, Carlson Marketing is a world leader in loyalty marketing employing some 4,000 professionals worldwide. In the GCC, it employs some 50 people serving clients such as Etihad, Kuwait Airline Company, National Bank of Kuwait, Qtel, and Wataniya through its offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Kuwait.
