Nikolas' work goes beyond that of traditional fashion designers, using the unique fabric of balloons to create beautiful and functional clothing and accessories,"

Using the "Nikoloon system", Nikolas went on to design stylish clothes and accessories and win awards all over the world, including three prizes at the industry event, Balloon Camp 2007. In 2006, his work featured at the famous Toshi Halloween Party in New York City. In 2007, he was on of the foremost designers at one of China's biggest festivals, Balloon Fashion in China. He will hold his first fashion award show at The Qualatex Event in Slovenia, in March 2009 and demonstrate the Nikoloon system along with teachers from all over the world.
A Twist on Couture will feature dresses, accessories and a range of fashionable items. It can be viewed at the Observatory in BurJuman from February 1 to 10 during mall hours.
