Dubai Ice Rink at The Dubai Mall hosted Emirates Face Club

The entire Ice Rink was booked exclusively for the function which hosted over 500 Face Club members and their families.

Mr Suresh Bhatia, Chief Executive Officer, Emaar Retail, said:

Mr David Ingram, Face Club Treasurer said: "Face Club aims to provide social, recreational and cultural activities for its members based in Dubai. The Dubai Ice Rink at The Dubai Mall was chosen as the first Face event of 2009 and over 500 people attended the event where we had heaps of fun and games and Face Club skated away with 500 smiles!"

Dubai Ice Rink is increasingly becoming a social meeting place for residents and visitors to Dubai and the venue is available for exclusive hire for private functions and corporate events. A multi-purpose venue, Dubai Ice Rink features a year-round events calendar both on and off the ice including themed skating events, figure skating shows, sporting matches and concerts. For non-ice events, Dubai Ice Rink is designed to convert into a multi-functional hall supported by a world-class multimedia system including a 20m x 10m LED screen.

Two-hour public skating sessions are on offer throughout the day every day, in addition to group visit packages and specialised 'Learn-to-Skate' programmes. Soon to be launched are Birthday Party Packages at Dubai Ice Rink.
