Nuqul Group's FINE Company also provided its donation of product supplies which was sent through Jordan River Foundation's campaign in partnership with the Hashemite Charity Commission.
Mr. Nicola Billeh, Nuqul Group's Human Recourse Director, commented:
"Palestinians are currently living in fear; they witnessed their homes being destroyed and their loved ones killed. They also suffer from shortage of food and medicines; and it is our responsibility to stand by them in such difficult situations; providing them with their daily necessities is the least that we can do."
Mr. Billeh added: "The value of giving back to our community is strongly embedded in our employees as part of our core values, this drive reflects our sense of belonging and we are proud to contribute at both personal and corporate level to our brothers and sisters in Gaza.
Mr. Ehab Al-Deeb, the Director General of Tkiyet Um Ali, said: "Although the war has stopped, the people of Gaza need our contributions urgently; the development stage is the hardest. We have seen a considerable rise in the number of trucks and supplies going into Gaza in the recent days, and we are pleased and proud to know that Nuqul Group employees contributed to this campaign."
"Tkiyet Um Ali already sent six convoys of food to Gaza, and will continue to send the needed support with an average of two convoys per week. Our teams are working to their fullest potentials to keep the donations going to Gaza, and received by the people who need it most," Mr. Al Deeb added.
Tkiyet Um Ali's most recent campaign entitled "Gaza Under Siege" is a continuation of its first campaign, aiming at supporting Palestinian families and supplying them with the needed products to ensure the minimal food security and avoid famine disasters at the strip.
Established in 1952, Nuqul Group brings together 30 regional and global companies, more than 5,500 employees and exports its products to over 45 exports markets worldwide.
