Karim Abukhadra, new President of IAA Jordan

The International Advertising Association - Jordan Chapter (IAA Jordan) elected a new Board of Directors for the term 2009-2011 during its extraordinary session of General Assembly meeting that was held on 27th January and attended by IAA members.
During the meeting, outgoing President Tabba, thanked all members for their active role and continuous contributions that played a major role in promoting the advertising and marketing communications industry and reflected on IAA Jordan's progress over the years.
Prior to the elections, the achievements of the past two years were recognized, primarily the hosting of the direct marketing expert Andy Owen, participating in the 41st meeting of the International Advertising Association in Washington, DC., organizing the Third Annual Conference of Advertising "Box Basics", organizing bowling and football tournaments, sponsoring the "Night of the AdEaters" in addition to organizing many workshops that covered different aspects of marketing communications industry.
IAA Jordan, the official representative of the International Advertising Association, was founded in December 2001 by a group of leading advertising entrepreneurs in Jordan. It aims to educate citizens on the advertising and marketing communication sector and to upgrade this sector on the local level.
