Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates appoints new Executive Assistant Manager

Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates has strengthened its management team with the appointment of experienced hotel executive Fuat Koroglu as its new Executive Assistant Manager.

Koroglu is a welcome addition to the talented team of hospitality experts.

Holger Schroth, General Manager of Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates, said:
"Fuat has done exceptionally well throughout his career so far, and his experience will be highly valuable at Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates."


A Turkish national, Koroglu made his way up the corporate hospitality ladder working in various banqueting and food and beverage roles. Beginning his career with Swissotel Hotel group in the early nineties, Koroglu moved to the Cıragan Palace Kempinski Istanbul in 1992, where he began his tenure as their Banqueting Service Manager, during his 15 plus years with the property Koroglu quickly solidified his place as indispensable within the Banqueting and Food and Beverage departments, achieving great success in his most recent role as Director of Food and Beverage.

Koroglu's strong leadership and marketing initiatives helped raise occupancy rates from international visitors, managing 350 staff and a yearly food and beverage revenue of almost EUR25m with an outstanding 35% profit.

Commenting on his decision to move to the UAE, Koroglu said, "The global hospitality industry continues to grow and develop in this region and there are many exciting prospects in terms of results driven activities to attract a larger share of the market, Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates is the ideal property to utilize my skills in this field, I have grand plans that I am looking forward to realizing."

Fluent in Turkish and English, Koroglu has settled in Dubai with his wife and two children.
